Come and join us mountain walking! Lauterbrunnen walking 6-16 AugLauterbrunnen is a valley famed for its waterfalls, giving good access to the whole mountain area below the Eiger, Jungfrau and Monch. Your rail pass, which is included in the price of the holiday, will take you to places such as Wengen, Grindelwald, Murren, Interlaken and Kleine Scheidegg. AccommodationWe stay in a traditional, 200 year old wooden chalet which is also a family home and farm! We also use this Chalet in the ski season and find it a cosy and friendly place to stay. There are plenty of toilets, adequate showers, some sunny balconies and a large dining/living room. Rooms are for 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5, with washbasins and mostly single beds. The house is clean, warm and rustic.  FellowshipThis holiday will include a time of Bible teaching and worship each evening. Most evenings we will lay on some sort of entertainment. You will be asked to help our cook for one day with cooking and washing up.This can be fun and will not curtail your walking time. WalkingThe area offers a wide range of walks of differing levels of exertion. We offer a number of options each day including guided walks on 5 of the days. Other days people can group together and explore the area without an 'official' leader. There are also many other activity options. Don't forget that a 6 day rail pass (for train, bus & cable car) is included in the price and will take you to places such as Wengen, Murren, Grindlewald, Interlaken, Schynige Platte and Kleine Schidegg. |
