Payment

  • Payment is by cheque or standing order.
  • Please make all cheques payable to "Gold Hill Holidays", unless stated otherwise.
  • Standing orders must be started at the latest, four months before a holiday.
  • Holidays can be paid for in instalments, manually, but this does not count as a standing order.
  • Bookings may be cancelled if payment is not paid two months prior to the holiday.

Deposit

  • A place can ONLY be secured on the payment of a deposit, even if a standing order is already in place.
  • All deposits are non-returnable and non-transferable.

The Small Print

EC law requires us to inform you of the following:-

Passport
You will require a full UK passport. Application forms are available from any Post Office. Allow at least 6 weeks from the date you apply.

Visas
If you are not a UK citizen you will need to inquire from your embassy whether you need a visa for any of the countries we travel through. These are England, France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

Insurance
The cover which is included in our European holidays is only available to UK residents. Non-UK residents must inform us and arrange their own insurance. Our insurers recommend having the E111 form, for reciprocal health cover.

Health
We require you to inform us of any health problems you may be experiencing or any medication you are taking. In some instances this may invalidate the insurance cover in which case we would require you to take out your own travel insurance. You need to be in good health and fit to undertake these holidays and not travelling against medical advice.

Security
All your payments are kept in a Trust Account until after the satisfactory completion of your holiday. This protects you and your money in the unlikely event of insolvency, ensuring a full refund and repatriation. The name and address of the person administering our Trust Account can be obtained from our office.

Price
For many the attraction of our holidays is enhanced by the all-inclusive price. It is our desire to stick by this wherever possible. However, we reserve the right to pass on any changes in currency exchange rates over 2% from the rate on 1st June prior to the holiday.

Numbers
We aim for each group to be a minimum of 35 people. We will give 2 months' notice in the unlikely event of us having to cancel a holiday. We will always offer an alternative or give a full refund.

Performance
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the holiday please speak to our team in resort so we can deal with any problems. If you are still unhappy we would ask you write within 14 days of the holiday giving all details and if possible suggesting a solution.

Information
Your details
will be held on a protected, computerised database, registered under The Data Protection Act, which we will not offer to other parties.
