Our plans for these weekends include meeting on the beach onthe first morning and offering the chance to surf, mess about on the beach and maybe go off rock scrambling. In house, we can run rock climbing, surfing, coastal walking and beach games- oh and cream tea trips!

Our weekends are tailored to suit whoever comes which means no age barriers and no previous experience needed!

St Georges House

St Georges House is an established Christian Outdoor centre in the village of Georgeham. Check out some of the photos of the area and the activities on offer! In addition to the activities we can run, we use the resources of the centre and their qualified staff to help run some activities.

We have taken lots of groups to this centre in the past and always had a great time, really enjoyed the beautiful area, the activities and the staff who work there! More information on the centre is available on their website.

For all our St Georges House holidays, unless otherwise stated on the final information, we intend to meet at Putsborough beach (beyond Barnstaple and Braunton). The Putsborough beach carpark is found at GR447407 or Vention Lane, EX33 and costs £6 to park for the full day (June 2010 price). We will lay out our bright yellow shelter over a windbreak which you will see most easily if you pass the beach shop down the ramp (not stairs) at the far left of the beach as you look at the sea.

At some point in the day, have a go at surfing or body boarding. We'll have our surfboards there which you are welcome to use but if you've got a board then please bring it along. We don't yet hold any wetsuits so bring one if you intend to stay in the water for any length of time. Please note that this beach is not lifeguard patrolled.

Warcombe

This is a clifftop camping site which is close to Lee Bay and about 10 minutes from Woolacombe and Putsborough, our favourite beaches in the area. The advantage of camping here with us is that you only have to think about the a tent and bedding not the catering as we have a cookhouse and dining/socialising marquee. There are male and female shower 'sheds' and a toilet block on the site too. There is a huge field for tents, cars and games which is only for our groups use so we can feel properly at home for a weekend.

This is a camping venue where we arrange the catering and activities. For more details, see their website at: http://www.warcombe.org.uk/

Warcombe August Bank Holiday 2010 on DBH10

The plan is to spend Saturday on Woolacombe beach enjoying the surf and perhaps playing some beach games like ultimate frisbee or cricket/crocker. On Saturday afternoon we'll head round the corner to the campsite to set up our tents and eat food (perhaps a BBQ? get on our facebook page and tell us if that sounds good) and chill out together.

Sunday- we will offer a variety of things to do such as climbing on one of three venues (outfall, bolts or long slab) along Baggy Point, surfing at either Puts or Croyde dependent upon the surf condition or a wander round the headlands in the area.

Monday- similar to Saturday and Sunday and plan to head our separate ways at about 4pm.

Tuesday- If people want to stay away for the whole week, then let us know when you book and we'll tell you the options for staying on. We want you to know who else might be staying on before you have to commit so we hope this arrangement works best for you......
