Every Swiss holiday includes insurance as the EHIC card does not cover you for all cases in Switzerland. Skiing holidays include wintersports cover. We are an appointed representative of Gold Cover insurance (see details within Appointed Representative disclosure) and at the time of booking will purchase the policy so you are covered for cancellation immediately. As part of our requirements under the FSA, we are required to ask you to read the policy wording included below or a 10 page paper copy can be sent upon request. In summary this includes:

Insurance for those over 65 years of age

If you are over 65 years of age, see this important information about insurance. We need to charge an additional £20 for insurance provided by us, so it may prove more cost effective to find your own insurance and claim the £10 discount instead!

Own Insurance 

If you have your own insurance, please ensure this is appropriate for wintersports and tell us at the time of booking where we will give you a £10 discount, but please be sure to return to us the form we sent you (See the enclosed document). We tend to find "insure for travel" have some good prices. You can visit their website!

Insurance Claims

If you need to make a claim using our insurance, we will assist you to make the process as straightforward as possible. Please let us know, via email, if you need to make a claim.  We will obtain the forms, complete as much as possible for you then allow you to make the claim directly with the insurers.
