Experienced leadership is the key to encouraging everybody in our chosen activities at whatever level. With this in mind we have built a team of instructors and leaders who love the outdoors and have worked at getting properly experienced and qualified in order to make your holiday more enjoyable. This means we can provide a programme of activities with something for everyone.

Our team are all committed to sharing the good news about Jesus in a sensitive way through activities. Most of our team take time to serve in this way and really want to give excellent instruction and have a holiday at the same time!

As founders of Gold Hill Holidays, we have been involved from the 1980’s. The holidays started with us organising ski trips and youth group trips for our church and various activity weekends. This soon grew until we gave up our previous work to set up and run Gold Hill Holidays full time. We love the outdoors and are well qualified in snowsport instruction, climbing and kayaking and canoeing. We have three wonderful girls; Sian, Emma and Kate.

Pete and Cath 

We have recently joined the company as we love the outdoors and believe strongly in the great atmosphere and fellowship that can be found on Gold Hill Holidays. We’ve been involved over the years as clients to instructing and cooking and are looking forward to getting to know lots of new people and are thinking of some new and exciting holidays to offer. Cath has just graduated and Pete has an accounting background. We split our free time between friends and family, and climbing up and coming down various mountains in various ways.

Snowsports Instruction team

The snowsports instruction team are dedicated to delivering excellent quality ski and board lessons in a fun way, after all, they are on holiday with you! If you’ve been on our holidays before, then many of the faces will be familiar. New instructors are always welcome to get in touch and apply to be part of the team.

Walking guide team

On walking holidays, the guiding team are selected because they have appropriate training or experience to lead walks, to navigate and manage the group safely. Again, new guides are always welcome to get in touch and apply to be part of the team.

Speakers

We invite speakers on every holiday to head up the spiritual programme. Our leaders are generally involved in leadership within their home church with experience of leading meetings as well as talking and praying with people on a more personal level.

Cooks

We love the cooks who are an essential part of the team! Their role apart from making great food, is to manage you, in your once in the week, oppoutuntiy to help out! Hopefully they'll make it fun as well.
