Getting Fit

Being out in the mountains can be hard work for even the fittest people due to the exercise, the altitude and the weather. To help you enjoy the holiday and reduce the potential for injury, we’d recommend getting fitter by swimming, running, cycling or joining a team. Make it fun and give yourself a goal and who knows you may even get into another new sport!

Getting going in skiing and boarding

If you’ve never skied or boarded before we would encourage you to take a course at your local dry slope as it’ll make a big difference to your progress and enjoyment while on the holiday. Dry sloping is more realistic than ever with the new indoor real snow venues around the UK so don’t let people put you off!
