Adelboden has earned the prestigious Swiss family friendly seal of approval for good reason. The 185km of slopes and continual upgrading of the lifts make the large region easily accessible to all abilities. The slopes are predominantly North facing, which means good snow cover right the way through the season, despite the resort being relatively low at between 1,353m and 2,375m. One of the first slopes you reach is the famous and wonderfully named Hahnenmoos run which is a lovely gentle blue to help you get your ski legs back.

The Ferienhaus "Albo" has bedrooms for 2, 3 and 6 people, each with a washbasin and mostly single beds.  There is a good sized dining room/meeting area and a Table Tennis room. It is a five minute walk from the uplift which takes you straight on to the slopes so you can be skiing as soon as possible. The uplift also has a cable car running up to the village which has a lovely selection of shops from traditional wood carving to tea rooms and restaurants. When there is enough snow, it is possible to ski all the way back to the house which makes for a satisfying end to the day.
