All About Us
We started out in the 1980's, running holidays for our church. Our aim then was to provide activities and holidays for those who thought them to be beyond their budget or ability. We try not to put restrictions of age or ability on anyone. We pride ourselves in being able to get the most unlikely people trying and enjoying the activities.
Excellent Value
Our aim is to provide the best all round value. This includes accommodation, three meals a day and a lively programme of entertainment. We invite a speaker and give time each day to worship and bible teaching. In general terms these holidays are fully inclusive with NO hidden extras. We give you the full price from which there can be deductions for early booking and payment. This is the key to encouraging everybody at whatever level. With this in mind we have built a team of instructors and leaders who love the outdoors and have worked at getting properly experienced and qualified, in order to make your holiday more enjoyable. This means we can provide a programme of activities with something for everyone.
Group Holidays
Enjoying being away with like-minded people is at the heart of our holidays. If you have friends who want to holiday with you, but whose ability differs from yours, a group holiday is the answer and much more fun. Our groups are usually between 40 to 60 people.
Comfortable Travel
European Holidays
We
find the best way to go is by coach. Obviously it makes the holiday cheaper;
we don't find it makes the total journey time that much longer. It gives
us 7 full days in resort, it's more convenient and much more sociable.
Our aim is to make it as short and pleasant as possible by using coaches
with reclining seats, toilet, hot drinks and video. The coach departs
from Gerrards Cross (Railway Station) travelling via Dover (P&O Ferry).
British Holidays
We
travel independently to our venue but we are very happy to co-ordinate
a car share scheme, both for getting to our destination and during the
week. The cost of the transport is not included in the holiday
price.
Christian Fellowship
We aim to run holidays where the Bible teaching, worship & fellowship are a natural part of the holiday. Our team are all committed to this view, so we welcome anyone to joining us to find out what the Christian life is all about.
Good Food
We think this is a very important ingredient for a good holiday. We run our own catering partly to keep costs down but mainly to have control and keep quality and quantity up. We ask everyone to be willing to help our cook on one day during the holiday, with cooking, washing up and clearing, this will NOT mean missing any of the activities! Our holidays are built on a good food reputation, come and taste for yourself!
Maximum Fun
We always try and lay on some entertainment each night whether we make it ourselves or go out for part of the evening. Our team aims to generate a happy and relaxed atmosphere which includes everyone in the fun. The mountains are an unbeatable environment for a holiday together.
