Clive and Ruth have holidayed in Purbeck for years.  Some of our original Sun, Sea and Surf w/e's were run based around this part of the Jurassic coastline.  We first returned here for Bank Holiday w/e's in 2006.  In 2008 we extended it to a week.

We are ideally located near the south west coastal path, nearby climbing on Dancing Ledge and it's a great place from which to enjoy all of the jurasssic coastline. We love being here over the August bank holiday for a family friendly fun activity week with a variety of watersports, which turns into a bit of a party with lots going on!

2010- Private Campsite near Burnbake

This campsite has level pitches, car parking, space for kids to play and a large marquee that we can all socialise and eat in.  On our own private site are portaloo toilets and washing facilities and we have access to the adjacent public campsite for showers.  For more info. on the public campsite, visit www.burnbake.co.uk.

The Donald Duck Field Studies Centre (2009 and prior)

We've settled on a field studies centre to stay in, which is an old radar station from WWII which has been converted to a bunkhouse style centre. There is also lots of camping space around it which we have been able to use and benefit from the indoor facilities for toilets, showers, meals, meeting and relaxing. This centre, whilst fairly basic is a luxury add on to camping and it has a log burning stove and plenty of social space in it.
