We're linking into the Mainstream "Come and Try It" w/e, as it's got so much potential for anyone wanting a gentle introduction to Kayaking or Canoeing.

It's also a fantastic campsite to have a w/e of fun by the river, so lots of other sports, crazy games, rope crossing, tug of war etc.  Not just for serious paddlers.  For those with a little previous experience, it's also a great location to try a little moving water either at a small rapid/shoot, right by our site, or going off site to Symmonds Yat, on Saturday morning, for a chance to try working on some Grade 1 rapids.

The Saturday afternoon is a chance for a mass "boat float" with all of us in whatever craft doing a down river journey, don't panic it's only about 5 miles.  Saturday evening is a chance to enjoy a BBQ together with everyone.  Sunday morning includes a fun time with a huge inter-team competition, some bits on water some bits on land, where you can represent your team in the bits you are good at.  It is a camping weekend so you will need a tent.
